Dear Christopher, this is Yuji from Ainoki.
How is the infection status of covid-19 in Culion? According to Facebook, the number of infected people seems to be increasing, and we are very worried. We are concerned about the impact by its spread on every children and indigenous peoples.
Hello 👋 Mr Yuji. How are you all? It’s sad to say that once again, People of Culion are facing these infections rapidly increased and the Municipality has declared a hard lockdown for the whole community that brings another burden especially to our brother’s and sister’s in the neighboring Islands the Indigenous People. I believe the Culion Municipality need to implement this kind of Executive Order to prevent the spread of Covid-19
Best Regards to all of Ainoki Family💗
Thank you for your reply. It seems that the infection situation has entered a new phase. It is very worrisome that it has spread to the indigenous people living on another island. A strong quarantine policy is needed, and we all hope that everyone can get out of this difficult situation as soon as possible.
In God’s will Mr Yuji 🙏
Last month the numbers of recoveries are amazingly decreased but then again another new case spread out through families and friends even the Municipality Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office driver died from Covid-19 last June 09, four days ago.
Actually I’m afraid to relay the message to M’am Kazuko-san due to her health condition that will make her worried about the situation.
The news must have come as a shock to you all. We are also worried about your food and milk. Please take precautions to prevent infection.
Kazuko-san is keeping her own pace and fulfilling her various roles.
Thank you Mr Yuji, Papa Espina-san is well and since then, the senior citizen are not allowed to go outside so he stayed in the house for the whole time around, still he has his medicine for maintenance so for now we are still ok, some kind of worried for the neighbors who can’t provide for themselves with a babies especially for those who are leaving in a coastal areas, we hope that this hardlockdown will be lifted soon with the guide of our Lord Almighty God!
We are so relieved to hear that your parents are being protected. In Japan, vaccination for the elderly has started. However, the number of vaccinated people is very small. I hope that a cure will be developed soon and distributed to everyone around the world.
Yes here in Culion as well Mr Yuji Papa Espina-san and Mama Inday has already recieved a first dose of Astra zenica vaccine last March 30 and the second dose is supposed to be this Tuesday June 16.
They priority all senior citizen to acquire this vaccine but our brothers and sisters from the island nearby the Indigenous People refuse to be vaccinated even its already explained to them in their dialect, there comes a situation when they saw a nurses they are hurried running to the mountain and hide
Good news that your parents will be getting a second dose of the vaccine!
But it’s so hard to get indigenous people to understand and get the shot. If they are going to make it out of this pandemic, they’re going to have to deal with it differently.
Indeed sir it’s totally different now from what they have been before as times goes by, still they believe in their cultural ethic power of healing, thank you Mr Yuji and all our Ainoki families💓
Thank you very much for the detailed information. Please give our best regards to your parents. Please let us know if anything happens at any time. We always hope to be with you to face your difficulties. Thank you very much.
Hello 👋 Mr. Yuki and to our Ainoki family, a warm greetings to every one!

Corona can remain for a long time even in remote islands in Japan. First of all, please protect yourself and your family from infection. The only way to get out of this situation is to limit your activities. Thank you for contacting me.
Yes Mr Yuji, many thanks 🙏🏻 right now no activities allowed and social gatherings due to a hard lockdown.
Please take good care of yourself. Please give my best to your parents and family.
Hello Ma’m Kazuko, how are you feeling today?

With so much love to everyone to our Ainoki family.💗💓
Thank you, Christopher for sending us the photos of Espina-san and Inday-san.
We are so pleased to see them and they got the second dose!
Tomorrow is my turn. Hope they’re not having severe after effects.
Also we are so relieved to know they have enough medicine to support their physical condition!
However ,how difficult and awful your days must be , we’re so much worried.
Especially the indigenous people.
Hope they’ll fully understand the meaning .
As for myself unfortunately I
haven’t been well for these days and need a lot of rest.
But you don’t need to worry about me.
Having rest certainly will give me energy once more and the Lord surely will guard me with His power, thankfully.
We will continue to pray ardently your days will turn into better in not so long time .
Please feel free to tell us if there’s anything we can do for you all.
Love you all 💖
